Any Golden Retriever photo is allowed in the Gallery.

It provides a location for the GRWeekly readers to easily upload / publish photos / videos of their dogs or events for others to see.

3. What would be some of the uses of the Photo Gallery?

There will be a few major themes that I think it can be used for:
1. It provides a location to add additional photos to compliment your current web pages on the GRWeekly. So, as an example, if you have a Stud Dog Page and you wish to add additional photos of him or of his off spring, this would be a way to do it.
2. Clubs / Organizations can quickly / easily publish photos / movies of their event /specialty.
3. You can easily submit potential photos to be used as Front Covers to the GRWeekly.
4. You can send an ECard to your friends from any of the photos posted.
5. And just for the fun of sharing silly photos of our dogs going through life.
So, I encourage you to register and begin uploading photos!

4. How do I register to use the Photo Gallery?

Go to the Photo Gallery Section and click on "Register" (Its up in the right hand corner). The terms for using the feature will come up and if you agree it will bring up a form for you to fill out.
Once the form has been submitted, the system will send you an Email to reply back to. Once that's completed you will be registered!

5. How do I create my albums?

Once you have logged into your account,
1. Click on "Album Admin." on the left hand side of the page. The will bring up the album editor.
2. Type in the Album Name and then brief description of what the album will contain.
3. Decide if you wish to have the photos in the album public / viewable by anyone or not.
4. Click "Add Album" and your done!

6. How do I upload / publish photos to the photo gallery?

Have you registered? If not, go to the question on how to register.
First, you may wish to create albums within you account to organize your photos. If you don't know how, go to the question on creating albums.
1. Click on "Upload Photos" in the upper right hand corner, this will bring up a new page.
2.Select the album or category that you wish to publish the photo to.
3. Click the Browse button, this will bring up your file manager window to select the photo from your PC or Mac. Take into account the size of the photo you are trying to upload. It is recommended that the photo be generally no larger than 600 x 600 pixels in size.
4. Enter the title that you wish see underneath the photo.
5. Enter a set of keywords that best describe to photo so that other people can search for photos with those attributes.
6. Enter the description that better describes what's going on.
7. Decide whether you wish to be notified if someone posts a note about your picture.
8. Click the submit button and wait. The time involved will depend upon the size of the photo and the connection speed you have to the internet.
