Glory (lying down) and Conner (sitting) are my two Golden Retrievers. Glory One Ash Brits True Glory Ale UDX3, JH, WC and Conner and OTCh One Ash Prime Time Express, UDX4, JH,WC.
In 1998 I had longed to have a Golden Retriever. At the time we had Pomeranians and it took a long time to convince my husband that we should have a bigger dog. I love the sport of obedience and had it in my mind that I would love to one day OTCH a dog. Obedience is a great passion of mine. I decided that this personal goal of having an OTCH was in my future dreams.
We finally got our first Golden Girl in 1998 and she was so beautiful. We made it through CDX in Both USA and Canada then my dreams were shattered with the news that she had kidney failure. I trained Sara through Utility. She was getting weaker so I had to give it up and before age 5 she died in my arms. That day was the worse day of my life.
Glory now 5, had a slip 2 years ago that we think has left her with a Gluteus muscle weakness, so it has been hard for her to finish her OTCh title being as she gets sore at times, but she does have 57 points and a UDX3.
Conner, my dream come true boy who is so willing and tries so hard to please has been the utmost joy to walk in the ring with. He is a Mommys boy and earned his OTCh on appropriately Mothers Day this year.
Oh yes, I must tell you, my husband LOVES Golden Retrievers and we are soon to have our 3rd J
