The San Diego Golden Retriever Meetup Group. 
 

This group began just over a year ago and currently has over 190 members, from throughout San Diego, Riverside, and Orange Counties.  We meet a minimum of once a month, usually with 40 to 60 Golden Retrievers in attendance, at different dog parks and dog friendly beaches around San Diego County. Some of our many activities so far this year have included a Golden Agility day, Golden dock dog day, and a still water swim day,  just to name a few.  
 
We also participate in fund raising events for various animal organizations such as Helen Woodward’s San Diego Pet Day on the Bay, the San Diego Humane Society’s annual San Diego Walk for Animals and Wags for Wishes.   We have many activities planned through the end of the year, which include a Flyball Exhibition and training for Golden’s, a Golden Costume contest in October and walking participation in the La Jolla Christmas parade.
