Description: "Tucker"� � Tucker is a 2-year-old Golden Retriever who was born on July 31, 2008. He is one of the most affectionate dogs we have ever seen. He's basically a 70-pound lap dog! He fits the description of a velcro dog perfectly! He always has to be by your side. Tucker very much enjoys swimming, dock diving, car rides, hiking, and playing with his younger Golden brother, Tyson. One of his favorite things to do is to find the biggest stick or tree branch that he can and then proudly prances around with it. Now that Tucker is 2 years old, we plan to start agility training with him. He is a very athletic, outgoing dog and we couldn't imagine life without him! Description: "BOZLEY AND HONEY"� � Bozley was three months old when I rescued him through Norcal Golden Retriever Rescue; he is now 61/2 years old. Honey, turned five years old July 22, 2010, and joined our family August 25, 2009, when she was in need of a new home. Honey and I were certified as a therapy dog team on December 1, 2009. We very much love what we do as a team; visiting hospitals, retirement homes and care facilities. Bozley and Honey are �joined at the hip�: what one does, the other does; they always have at least one tennis ball with them at all times; it is absolutely hysterical to watch them play �keep away� with each other; and, even though I throw two separate water toys, they always bring one in together. Bozley and Honey have two older Golden siblings that they love; Tucker (12 years) and Flurry (10.5 years). Life at the Steward house is definitely more than GOLDEN. Donna J. Description: "Angus"� � This is our golden boy Angus, who was born in December 2008, we named him Angus because that�s a Scottish name, Golden�s are a Scottish breed, and I was born and bred in Scotland. �My husband surprised me with him as a Valentine�s Day gift. �He is about 8 months old in this photo and he�s resting on one of our steamer chairs on the patio after yet another dip in our pool.� He loves to swim no matter what the weather may be, it�s never too cold for him, thank goodness for that double coat! �He seems to think the pool is his big water bowl! �He loves to play tug, have his ears and belly rubbed, going to the dog park and people! �He also loves to chew and dig but we�re working on that!� We love him very much and can�t imagine our lives without him around. Description: "Bear"� � Bear started off as a �trial basis�.��I wasn�t really sure if I was going to be able to care for a six week old puppy. So I put �half down� on him on a��Friday,��by that evening��he had made himself right at home and right into our hearts. I knew I was going to have to make the hour trip again and pay the remainder.��I took him back to say goodbye to his parents . He is the son of��Benny XI��and��Belle My Girl. � On June 10, Bear will be 13!��It�s been a wonderful 13yrs with him. Although��a little older, he still posses the same puppy quality�s��he was born with,��his love of car rides, all the people and dog friends that��stop and know him by name and play with him in the park,��his love of pizza�and donuts�and long naps. � To me, there is no other dog breed than a Golden Retriever.��Bear has a soft gentle soul, who shows compassion, and sensitivity.��He can make you smile even when you don�t want to.��He IS definitely one of the family.��I can�t even begin to express what Bear means to me-and how grateful I have been to care for him � Bear-��A very big thank you for being��the most wonderful dog in the world! We love taking care of you and wish you a very��many more years with us!!��You definitely made our lives��better!!!! � Since my photo and story� were submitted , Bear's health deteriorated suddenly with an enlarged bleeding spleen and failing kidneys. It was very painful to see how much courage he had , to try to stand and walk.� Unfortunately, he couldn't� and� I had to make a very painful decision to let him go.�� He left us so soon and suddenly, I can't believe he is gone and how much he is missed.� I can only say� that is was an honor and a priveledge� to have you in our lives.�� Love, � Cris cris-trejo@hotmail.com
