Jengar's Reddy for Jazzy
"Darci"
What do you do when your owners are worn out and tired of throwing the ball? I have the answer. You learn to play by yourself.
Here I am sizing up the situation. How far can I let that ball float away from shore before I must pounce. Any second now I will leap forward and nail that sucker to the bottom of the lake with one swift stroke of my webbed paw. Then, maybe I’ll let it bob up to the surface only to nail it again. This works great unless I have miscalculated and actually have to get wet to retrieve it.
Or you can find a hill and roll the ball down into the water. This one really drives the owners nuts. Especially if you stand there starring at it. They’re thinking “Now how am I going to get that ball back without going swimming.” Let them stew a bit before you leap in and rescue it.
Stuck at home in a boring house? No problem again. You put the ball under the couch and then ram your body in after it with dramatic flair. Really shakes up those couch potatoes and makes them chuckle when the whole couch shakes. Most of the time, if you get the timing right you will be able to come out with a ball gently held in your front teeth. Sometimes the ball goes a bit too far under the couch. The solution? Run around the couch and ram your body in on the other side. Then run back around and try the first side again. Then - well you get the idea. Eventually you get it out and triumphantly present it as a prize trophy.
Oh the things we need to do to teach these humans how to be good owners. In the meantime I need to concentrate on this ball. I think the timing is perfect RIGHT NOW!
