"Lexy"

Golden retrievers are definitely a man's best friend!!

This is "Lexy" our 1 1/2 year old puppy! In May of 2005 my husband and I realized that we needed another member in our family , our daughter Kaitlyn wanted a puppy. We decided that if we were going to get a puppy it had to be a golden retriever as they are the best for kids.

Lexy was 1 in 7 puppies and we went to pick her out at 4 weeks old .She was the most energetic and playful of the bunch. It was very hard to leave her that day but the next 2 weeks went by real fast .We brought her home at 6 weeks old and she was one little bundle of joy!

Lexy lives out in the country with us in Ontario Canada right near by is our favorite past time , we call it our "doggy park" We take Lexy there every day as everyone takes their dogs there to run around and there is a creek and even though it is the middle of winter Lexy has to go swimming! She loves to see her friends !

Lexy is a very amazing dog. This past fall our daughter entered her in a pet show at the local fair and she came home with a 1st place trophy for best behaved dog and 2 ribbons for other categories !! We were so happy for her!

Lexy has been the the best thing that could have ever happened to us and we hope to spend a long , long time with her !!!
