With approximately 100 members throughout Alberta and neighboring provinces, the members of the Club are active in a wide variety of pursuits. This includes working certificate training seminars and tests, obedience seminars and trials, specialty shows and boosters, agility, flyball, scent hurdling and canine health clinics. |

The Golden Retriever Club of Canada is a national club working in co-operation with the Canadian Kennel Club to develop and bring the Golden Retriever to the highest standards possible. The Club endeavours to educate owners and breeders of Golden Retrievers about the breed, the problems that affect it, and the importance of responsible breeding and selling programmes. |
